Stacy Claycomb, AuD

Dr. Claycomb has worked at the University of Colorado Hospital since 2007.  Stacy coordinates the newborn hearing screening program, ensuring that the UCH’s youngest patients receive a hearing screening soon after they are born.  She shares her experience of working with rural populations with others working in remote areas through grant work.

Education and Field Involvement

She received her B.S. from Colorado State University in 1999, and her Doctorate of Audiology from University of Northern Colorado in 2006.  She previously served on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Academy of Audiology and is a regional coordinator for the Colorado Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Program.

Clinical Interest

Stacy’s primary focus is on pediatric diagnostics and amplification.  She strives to stay on the leading edge of expertise by working new technology as it emerges into the field.  In addition, Stacy presents her work to both the consumer and professional communities.

Personal

Stacy is a native Coloradan and actively enjoys all that the state has to offer.  Stacy often spends her free time hiking, mountain biking and, more recently, rock climbing.  She also enjoys training and competing in athletic events.
