Telehealth

Most of Colorado is considered rural particularly the mountain regions, the western slope, and the plains. A significant part of the Marion Downs Hearing Center is to offer audiological services in areas needed regionally, with the future plan to offer these services internationally. The center is in the process of applying for several federal grants to support our growing telehealth program.

The telehealth program will bring expert audiological, speech pathology, and mental health services to rural areas where patients may have limited access to such services. Using highly sophisicated technology and the growing telehealth network, our clinicians will collaborate with professionals to offer needed services in their local communnities. This program will allow patients access to highly specialized health care in their home communities which will eliminate their previous need to travel great distances to receive the same care.
