Marion's Way Preschool
Marion's Way Preschool is an intensive summer program for children with hearing loss. It is well documented that hearing is important for speech and language development, communication, and learning. Without intervention services and support, young children who are deaf or hard of hearing children can potentially develop speech, language, and learning delays which can also lead to social and emotional development delays as well. Marion's Way Preschool offers a specialized educational experience for children who primarily have oral language goals. (Note: we do not restrict or deny visual communication support, such as sign language, when needed.) Marion's Way Preschool is the only preschool in the Denver metro area that is only for deaf and hard of hearing children.
Marion's Way 2012
This summer's program will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings, June 19 - July 26, 2012 (exception: there will be class on July 2nd and 3rd but not on July 4th and 5th) at the Anchor Center for Blind Children in Denver. To apply, download the student application below and submit to the Marion Downs Hearing Center by May 1, 2012. Tuition is $2,000. Limited scholarships and payment plans are available for families who require assistance.
