The Marion Downs Hearing Center at the University of Colorado Hospital - Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora , Colorado , was created to honor the legacy of Marion Downs. The Center provides resources, education, and research to support the needs of individuals who are deaf and hard-of-hearing, their families, the community and hearing health professionals. All activities value individual and family choice in communication and use of technology, striving to optimize the quality of life for all that it serves.
The Marion Downs Hearing Center Foundation supports the activities of the Center and is currently in a capital campaign to raise the necessary funding for a new state-of-the-art center to house its unique programs.
